How to take Screenshot in Samsung Galaxy S LCD (I9003)?

With smartphones getting better each day, it’s expected that all the functionalities of PC should be available over the phone. People who are android enthusiastic and people who are writing technical tutorials need the screenshot of their phone like they do on the PC. While using my Samsung Galaxy S, I heard the camera sound suddenly. I got surprised. Afterwards I got to know that I had taken the screenshot of my phone. So, I thought I will share this in case you guys don’t know how to take screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S.

Taking screenshot in Samsung Galaxy S is very easy, Just follow below steps:
  1.  Make sure that you are running Froyo or Gingerbread on your phone.
  2.  When you want to take the screenshot of your desired screen, Hold Back Button + Press Home button in the middle
  3.  You will hear camera capture sound and see notification “Screen captured. Save as image file”. Go to the Gallery and there is a new folder called Screen Capture. Open it; you will see the captured image. Enjoy!

How To Upgrade Samsung Galaxy SL to GingerBread 2.3.5?

Here is good news for all Samsung Galaxy SL (GT-I9003) owners of India!  After the announcement of Ice-cream Sandwich with Google Nexus, Samsung launched Galaxy Note. The most anticipated upgrade to Gingerbread for Samsung Smartphone is now available in India. Now you can upgrade your Samsung Galaxy SL to Gingerbread 2.3.5. You can upgrade your phone by two ways- either by visiting Samsung Service Center or upgrade it using your PC. And if you are a person who don't like to go to service center here are some simple steps for upgrading.

First of all you need to have latest version of Samsung Kies. It can be downloaded from Samsung's official website. Please make sure you are using latest version i.e. 2.1.0.11095_121.Because if you are using the earlier version you may not be able to upgrade.

Here is the simple guide to upgrade your phone to latest firmware.
Before you start upgrading.....
  1. Please ensure your battery level is more than 70% You can check your battery level through Menu>> Settings>> About phone>> Status 
  2.     You can check your current Firmware version through Menu>> Settings>> About              
  3. Don’t forget to take back-up of your data as it may flash your phone storage while upgrading
  4. Don't disconnect the phone from PC until upgrade is complete
  5. Don't press any button during upgrade process
  6. Have patience since upgrade can take 5 to 30 minutes, but it can take longer depending on your  internet connection speed
      Here we go for upgrading your Samsung Galaxy SL to Gingerbread 2.3.5
  1.  Connect your phone to PC and open Kies. As soon as Kies starts, it will give pop-up showing “A    new   firmware version is available”. Click on the ‘Update’ button.
  2. It will show warning. Select ‘Allow saving’ radio button and click on ‘Start Upgrade’ button
  3. It will start downloading files for firmware upgrade. Have patience because this process may take long time varying with your internet speed. 
  4.     After downloading Firmware upgrade components, it will download files for upgrading
  5. After it downloads all the files it will start installation of Gingerbread 2.3.5 on your Samsung Galaxy SL. During this process you can see yellow triangle on your phone. It will take two minutes to install. Phone will restart automatically. Now, you have Gingerbread 2.3.5!   
  6. You can check your firmware version through Menu>> Settings>> About phone
